How My Postal Posies was born

Since starting my flower journey more than a decade ago to opening my flower shop in 2023, I have learnt a lot and experimented with different ideas. However, my Postal Posies was born after a conversation with my friend about what I enjoy doing the most and what works the best in my flower business. I said – “I love making my jam jar posies and people love them!”.

I said it half jokingly as jam jar posies was something that I made as an add-on with leftover flowers that I couldn’t use in a long stem bouquet. 

However, after the conversation, I couldn’t stop thinking about how great it would  be to be able to scale this and offer bespoke posies, delivered anywhere in the UK.

I was already selling a version of them on Etsy and it was actually one my best-selling products on there. People left 5- star reviews about them all the time.

It is just a perfect little gift. There are so many occasions in life where you just want to send something cute and personal to remind people that you are thinking about them… And sometimes that traditional Chrysanthemum bouquet with one rose in the middle and some greenery from our Supermarket florists don’t quite cut it! So, that is where the idea of Postal Posies came from!

They are bespoke, affordable, long-lasting and with a fast/nominated day delivery option.

Charming and Affordable Flower Posies for Every Occasion, Handcrafted by The Florist and delivered to a doorstep anywhere in the UK!

Each posy is handcrafted with a wide range of flowers and foliage that are placed in a recycled Glass Jar and tied with a colourful ribbon. These flower posies can last for up to 2-3 weeks. Some of the materials can be dried afterwards and kept in a glass jar as dried decoration. Flowers are delivered in the jar with a water source and always dispatched with 24 hours Tracked Delivery Service to guarantee their freshness. Each Postal Posy comes with a cute Postcard where you can add your personalised message.
